Nithyananda’s own Hindu Nation!
Recently a representative of Kailaasa Nation appeared and spoke about the human rights violation in nations like India. Till then the name of Kailaasa nation was not received that much attention. Where i this country on the world map? That alone is not really known.A possibility is that it might be an island with scarce population bought by this man from some country in the Atlantic.
Who is this Nithyananda ? He is a controversial saint from Tamil Nadu India. Though he claims everything about Hindu religion, law of the land has declared him an absconder wanted in some sexual crimes in India. He has considerable following all over the world.
The Kailaasa Nation website will offer you details on everything else from Kailaasa’s constitution to Kailaasa’s national animal (the mythological bull Nandi) and national tree (banyan) and its national flag (a maroon rectangle stamped with a Nandi and Nithyananda’s own image). Mentioning the persecution of Hindus in human history as a “Hindu Holocaust”, Kailaasa is termed as “the Revival of the Ancient Enlightened Hindu Civilizational Nation which is being revived by displaced Hindus from around the world”. While the website adds that there are no barriers on caste, class, gender, and sexuality to gain “citizenship” at Kailaasa, it is intended as a Hindu-only state, more like “a safe haven to all the world’s practicing, aspiring or persecuted Hindus”. The site’s data sources aren’t mentioned but it claims that the nation’s current population is '2 billion practicing Hindus with 100 million being of the Adi Shaivite sect'. Kailaasa also has its own Reserve Bank of Kailaasa that is structured along the lines of the Vatican Bank. And leave alone everything, the country even has its own (drum-roll) Kailasa-pedia!
