Before the suprabhatham recital itself today ( Tuesday 7th November 2017) Malabar Devaswom Board officials have disturbed the Lord and taken over his abode, the Guruvayur Parthasarathy Temple.
It is seen by local people as against their religious freedom and blatant rule violation.
The sad thing is that the temple was taken over with the help of the police under the cover of darkness.
Only BJP seems to have openly condemned the state for intervening in the governance of the temples. It is well known that the state does not intervene in the management or the governing body of Christaian or muslim religious worship centres.
