Sri Rama Jayanti or Sri Rama Navami is the birthday Lord Sri Ram.It is observed in the month of Chaithra -That is the 9th day of the sukla paksha. This year it is on 12th April2011.
The 9 day worship dedicated to Lord Ram starts with prathami and ends on the navami day of Sukla paksha.Sri Ram temples all over the country including Ayodhya Sri Ram Temple in UP and Ramesharam temple in TNcelebrate this auspicious day.
