This majestic PEEPUL tree in front of the temple is more than 100 years old. This is also known as sacred Indian fig tree. It's botanical name is Ficus religiosa. Also called bodhi tree which is known for wisdom and enlightenment of Buddhism. Gautama ( Lord BUDDHA ) is believed to have got heavenly inspiration under such a tree.
